WELCOME TO HOTEL CARRETERO

Its founder Arturo López Álvarez, Spanish businessman, born in Vigo, but from Caldas and Colombia by heart. He arrived to Colombia in 1949 to leave a business and cultural legacy by building the largest hotel structure of Manizales in 1981.

The architectural design, work of the Professional Eduardo Huertas Botero, became reality with private contributions and a credit of the National Corporation of Tourism. Its name is a tribute to the former Avenida Santander, where in addition to lodging, offers spaces for events with added value, according to national and international market requirements.
